The Lost Dutchman Marathon weekend of fun is conducted over the President's Day weekend to allow extra time for those of you who need to travel. Next year's running events will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017. In addition to our signature Lost Dutchman Marathon, the Lost Dutchman offers a Half Marathon, 10K, 8K Trail Run and a 2 Mile Fun Run or Walk.
Registration is open for the 2017 Lost Dutchman Marathon Festival. Runners are encouraged to register online through Active.com This helps us to keep our administrative costs down as well as provide you with the best race day experience possible. Runners may also register by mail or in person near race day - space permitting.
2017 registration is limited for all races in order maintain a small, friendly race and stay within the capacity of Prospector Park. Race fees go up September 1st, again on January 1st. Register today at Active.com to ensure availability of your favorite race and take advantage of our lower entry fees.
Get reimbursed up to 100% if you can't attend the Lost Dutchman Marathon for a number of reasons, including covered injury, illness, traffic accidents and more for an additional $7.99 per registration. Look for coverage details and more information during check out at Active.com
You may now register both as an individual and as part of a 5 person team. There is no additional cost for joining a team. If you do not wish to be on a team simply click next when you reach the team screen. This is not a Relay!
Teams will be divided into 3 categories: Female, male, and coed. The first person to register will name the team and be the team captain. He or she will also determine it's category.
If you are joining an existing team, as soon as you begin typing the name it will auto fill. If you are rejected that means there are already 5 members and you will need to start a new team with a slightly or completely different name. There is no limit on the number of teams.
Awards will be presented to the top 3 teams by time in each category who will also be featured on Facebook and our website. Each first place team member will receive a $50 gift card to Road Runner Sports in addition to their gold medal.
Joining a team will not affect your status as an individual, everything else remains the same.

Walk in registration, packet pick up and race changes are available in person the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before the event if space remains.

The race will be chip timed. Your chip is a part of your bib, do not remove it. Your number bib must be worn on the front and be visible at all times during the race.

We will be using live runner tracking so that friends and family will be able to track your progress live. Friends and family will be able to track your progress live via Facebook, Twitter, text message, or email. Finish times will be posted for all timed events; additionally the marathon, half marathon, and 10k will have multiple timing locations along their routes. You will be able to sign up for Live Runner Tracking here closer to race day.
