Refund & Cancellation Policy
All registration fees are non-refundable and non-deferrable for any reason. Please read this policy in full before you register. Completing registration means you accept these terms.
1. No refunds or deferrals
Registration fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a future year, transferred to another person, or moved to a different event or distance, regardless of the reason for non-participation (including injury, illness, schedule conflicts, travel issues, or change of plans).
2. Event changes or cancellation
If the event must be modified, postponed, or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control — including severe weather, fire, flood, natural disaster, public-health orders, or other force-majeure events — registration fees remain non-refundable. A large share of each entry is committed in advance to permits, public-safety services, course setup, equipment, and participant materials. Where feasible we will communicate alternatives, but no refund is guaranteed.
3. Withdrawing from the race
If you are unable to participate, you do not need to notify us, but no refund will be issued. We encourage you to train safely and to consult a physician before participating.
4. Errors and duplicate charges
If you believe you were charged in error or charged more than once, contact us promptly through our contact page and we will review the transaction with our registration partner, Race Roster.
5. How registration is processed
Registration and payment are handled by Race Roster. Their checkout terms apply in addition to this policy. This policy controls the Lost Dutchman Marathon's refund position.
