Ellen was inspired to be a runner by her father running her first race, a half marathon, at 20 years old with a solid 4 weeks of training. Since then she has wisened up in her training and now typically follows a 16+ week training program for races. Ellen has competed in multiple distances and various types of races from Ragnar to Tough Mudder and from half marathons to Marathons. During covid she really caught the running bug, making her chase the BQ dream. She missed it last year by only 3 minutes, a PR of 49 minutes with a finishing time of 3:38. She looks forward to helping others reach their goals, chatting them up all along the way.
